Acrobatic rigging to make scenic flight possible

When a project requires suspended performers, aerial trajectories or a flight effect, rigging cannot be "standard". At Volàtil Rigging we develop solutions so the action is viable, repeatable and safe, both in rehearsal and performance.
We work with scenic flights and aerial rigs in one or two planes, direct flights, counterweighted flights and motorised flights, integrating the anchor points and systems needed according to the context (theatre, street, filming, singular spaces or events).

In acrobatic rigging, safety is not an add-on: it is the foundation that allows the artist to work with confidence. We review the equipment, verify the assembly and apply technical criteria so the aerial work is stable and repeatable.

  • Feasibility assessment: understanding the idea and the possibilities of the space (plans, photos, video or visit/video call if needed).
  • Custom technical proposal: definition of the flight/rigging system and the necessary anchor points.
  • Assembly and verifications: installation, checks and adjustments before rehearsal or performance.
  • Live assistance (if needed): support during rehearsals, performances or filming when the action requires it.
  • Dismantling: when it is a temporary installation.
