Rigging for events and performing arts: elevation and suspension of loads

We plan and execute rigging to ensure that the technical setup is safe, efficient, and integrated with the rest of the show or event. We work with producers, theaters, festivals, and technical service companies to solve the suspension and elevation of loads (lighting, sound, video, set design, and structures) with criteria and without surprises.

Scenic and event rigging to make the assembly work

When a project incorporates truss, structures, lighting/sound/video equipment or suspended scenic elements, rigging must be impeccable: it has to hold loads, withstand time and cope with production changes. At Volàtil Rigging we develop solutions for lifting and suspending loads on stages, venues and singular spaces, with a practical, production-oriented approach.

We often collaborate with technical service companies and assembly teams to ensure the rigging is well-sized and orderly: points, loads, runs and assembly/dismantling timings.

What the
rigging service includes

Safety and criteria under pressure: At festivals, shoots and events, time is tight and changes are frequent. That is why we work with a clear methodology: controlled equipment, verifications before going into service and technical criteria to avoid improvisation.

  • Feasibility assessment: understanding the idea and the possibilities of the space (plans, photos, video or visit/video call if needed).
  • Custom technical proposal: definition of the flight/rigging system and the necessary anchor points.
  • Assembly and verifications: installation, checks and adjustments before rehearsal or performance.
  • Live assistance (if needed): support during rehearsals, performances or filming when the action requires it.
  • Dismantling: when it is a temporary installation.
